I'd love to be able to help you, but in order to have an accurate diagnosis, you need to see your doctor. He/she will review your and your family's medical history, discuss your symptoms with you, and conduct a complete examination. Nobody can diagnose via the Internet. Besides, it just isn't safe.

But it sounds like you've seen quite a few doctors and aren't getting anywhere. It may be time to find an expert in headache medicine - not a neurologist who says they are a headache specialist - but a doctor who is board certified in headache medicine. And here's why: neurologists may be fine doctors, but have a hard time being experts in one area. This is because they treat so many conditions like MS, epilepsy and stroke. Do you take anything for your daily head pain? Taking Migraine abortive meds such as the triptans or ergotamines or any kind of pain medication -- prescription or over-the-counter -- more than two or three days a week can make matters worse by causing medication overuse headache (MOH), aka rebound. In addition to taking care of that head pain, (more on that below) you also really need an accurate diagnosis. One of the most important things is to get an accurate diagnosis. To simplify matters and make it easier for people to get information and treatment, doctors usually go by the gold standard for diagnosis, the International Headache Society's International Classification of Headache Disorders, 2nd Edition (ICHD-II).  You can read more about this in The Type of Migraine Does Matter.
