I have never tried to go completely organic. Earlier in the summer I ate very healthy foods and stayed away from any fast food (it helped a lot). I'm a picky eater and in college so I live on a budget. I would say there is no harm in trying and a good chance that it will work. When I eat better, I feel better.

Hi Jen!

It is likely that you may be able to reduce Migraines by eating organic. With foods today, there are so many additives, hormones and a bunch of other lovely stuff, why not give it a try?

I know for a lot of Migraineurs, MSG is a big trigger, and that is found in a lot of things these days!

See this link as well: Managing Migraine: Migraine Food Triggers.

Hope this helps!

Good luck going organic! Laughing

Going with more organic food has helped me. But one thing that I found is that after doing this, it seemed my body was a LOT more sensitive to preservatives, MSG, etc. The post just above is so true. MSG is hidden in a lot of food. I have identified that as being a key trigger for my migraines. I can have it once in a while, but I have to be very, very careful.
