I have been dealing with migraines in one form or another for 20 years. No aura, but sometimes nausea/vomiting. Definite sensitibity to light.

Whenever there's a change in our Migraine pattern, we need to see our doctors and be sure that there's nothing else going on. So you do need to see your doctor about this.
In the meantime, can you think of anything that's changed? New bed or pillows? If you work at a desk, do you have a new chair?
Pain at the base of the skull could indicate that you get tension-type headaches that trigger your Migraines, but only your doctor can confirm that.
The neck stiffness especially needs to be checked out by your doctor.
Please le me know what your doctor says?
Good luck,
Teri
