 Hi jayde,

I hope you are feeling better and have placed a call in to your doctor. Any time we have new, or different  symptoms we need to let our doctors know as soon as possible, especially if this hasn't happened before.

It would be really great if I could answer this question for you, but I cannot,  because it can't be adequately answered online. A diagnosis can only be provided by a doctor who can review your medical history, your family's medical history, discuss your symptoms, and conduct a complete exam in person.

One of the most important things is to get an accurate diagnosis. To simplify matters and make it easier for people to get information and treatment, doctors usually go by the gold standard for diagnosis, the International Headache Society's International Classification of Headache Disorders, 2nd Edition (ICHD-II). You can read more about the importance of a correct diagnosis in The Type of Migraine Does Matter.

Good luck

Nancy
