I am looking for a headache specialist in the Philadelphia, Pa. area. Please do not recommend Jefferson Headache clinic. I went there and they were of no help. You have to sit and wait a mininum of an hour and a half just to see a doctor for 5 minutes and they still could not diagnose my daily headache. I do have a good neurologist that diagnosed me not just with migraines but with hemicrania continua (a continuous headache) for which I take indocin. For personal reasons I need to switch to a different doctor and would like one closer to my home in Philadelphia and the Montgomery county suburbs. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi marinequeen,
We maintain a list of Migraine specialists who are recommended by patients or by Migraine specialist I know and trust. Hopefully, you'll find one there. You could look in NYC, or NJ. Take a look at Patient Recommended Migraine and Headache Specialists.

All of the specialists who have been recommended to us are on the directory to which Nancy gave you the link. As Nancy said, be sure to look in neighboring states as well.
