The chronic migraines causing the nerve pain, or vice versa?

Sorry so long, new here desperate for feedback. History: chronic "suppossed" sinus headahces(doc now says don't think sinus) & migraines for 6yrs.Most of the time spent trying to "self manage".4yrs ago, exactly same time span of year (Oct-Jan)onset daily most severe migraines ever.Doc ordered...
