Teresa,
There is no evidencet hat correcting a deviated septum reduces the frequency of Migraines.
However, it might make a difference in a couple of ways:
1) During a Migraine, the trigeminal nerve (TN) becomes inflamed. One branch of the TN runs along the sinus cavities; another runs above the eyes. Repair of a deviated septum might reduce the amount of pain you have in those areas during a Migraine.
2) Anything that impacts our overall health can make us more susceptible to our Migraine triggers. So, if repairing the deviated septum improves your overall health, it could also help you be less susceptible to your triggers.
Hope this helps,
Teri
