Migraine Aura

Women who suffer from migraines with aura are almost twice as likely to show small brain lesions than women who don't have headaches, a new study has found. Researchers in Iceland found the so-called "silent" lesions on the cerebellum--which controls motor activities and balance--were found to be statistically significant only in women.
