The Food and Drug Administration has asked Bayer Pharmaceuticals Corp. to add a warning to the labeling for high-blood-pressure drug Nimotop (nimodipine). The calcium-channel blocker should be taken orally only. Other methods of administering the drug, such as intravenously, may result in serious reactions or death.
