Singer Janet Jackson has been diagnosed with a rare type of migraine, according to a statement released by her publicists. Jackson had been forced to cancel several concert performances after she fell ill during a sound check in Montreal. A thorough medical evaluation found that the singer suffers from a rare form of migraine called vestibular migraine or migraine-associated vertigo, for which she is currently receiving treatment. Jackson's manager says she will return to performing this week.
