Just saw this interesting study in a Chilean medical journal (the abstract is in English) about how common vertebral fractures are in postmenopausal women, along with osteoporosis and Vitamin D deficiency. Interestingly, more than half the women with fractures didn't have osteoporosis according to their bone density tests.
