Holiday stress can trigger migraines

The holidays are supposed to be a joyous time, but they can be difficult for people who suffer migraines. Dr. Larry Newman, director of the Headache Institute, says his clinic experiences a 30 percent to 40 percent increase in calls during the winter holiday months, often due to holiday stress. In this article, a reporter talks to Newman and to migraine sufferers about holiday stress and its relationship to migraines.
