Zogenix receives approval for DosePro

Drugmaker Zogenix has been granted approval of the Sumavel DosePro--a system that delivers subcutaneous doses of sumatriptan without use of a needle. The dosing system is capable of providing relief to migraine sufferers in as little as ten minutes. Because the DosePro can be self administered, the drugmaker says it may be used as a replacement for needle-based injectable forms of sumatriptan, and possibly tablet and nasal spray triptans.  Read full story >
