Britain retires 100 watt bulb to mixed reviews

Beginning this month, the 100 watt light bulb and all frosted, opaque, and pearl finished bulbs are being phased out in Great Britain. The effort should save citizens money on energy costs, and are reported to be more environmentally friendly, but many people are unhappy with the change. Some people claim the new bulbs can cause migraines, exacerbate skin problems, and exacerbate other light-sensitive health conditions.
