Rain, Humidity Linked to Headaches in Latest Study

A new study appears to back up the claim that rainy or humid weather conditions are linked to headaches. In a study of 25 children and teens with migraines, researchers found that the students were three times more likely to have a headache on a rainy or high-humidity day compared to a drier day. Researchers say other studies have suggested a link between barometric pressure changes that occur with cloudy skies or storms may also affect headache pain, but they say the reasons are not clearly understood.
