Take Action: Management of migraine



Specifically:
  • Keep a diary to record headache patterns
  • Avoid foods, sensations, or stressors which trigger headaches
  • Know important information such as what medications to take, and how to take them
  • Know what type of migraine you have
  • Ensure that headaches are not caused by another physiological problem
  • See a specialist or review info about migraine clinics if symptoms worsen despite maintaining a treatment plan
