My eyes hurt,
My face throbs,
My teeth ache,
So it's meds I take.
I wait awhile,
The pain still there,
I lay down in bed,
I wish I was dead.
The light hurts,
The noise unbearable,
I close my eyes,
Can you hear my anguished cries?
Just lay still,
It will all go away,
Maybe not right now,
But wait another day.
I see a bright tomorrow,
As I lay there in my pain,
I wish it was already here,
As my eyes trickle a tear.
