A Pulsating, pounding villain protruding in my life
Filling each and every moment with painful strife
Invisibly invading my mind and sanity with senseless anguish
Trying anything and everything to make it extinguish
Its fingers greedily gouge into every crevice of my brain
Nerves and Nausea add to the sickening strain
Ordinary life ceases to exist with this monster’s hounding
Using its fist to keep on pounding and pounding
Seconds, minutes, and hours darkly drone on with no relief
Nothing about the work of this evil foe is brief
Each time the invasion ends, I have only one thing to say
How can I keep this frightful wicked fiend at bay?
