- "Headaches?" If you read on, you find that Morrone was referring to headaches and Migraines, but lumps them together.
- "Tried everything?" With all the devices, supplements, and medications available today, that's virtually impossible. Of course, since Morrone lists only 12 medications in her list of potential preventive medications, maybe she doesn't realize that there are over 100 potential preventive medications.
Still, even more disturbing to me is that she goes on to blame different types of stress -- anxiety, anger, discontent. Then she asks another question -- "Who's to Blame?" -- after which she essentially blames the patient for not handling stresses correctly. She writes, "Many people claim that they 'just can't help it' when it comes to feeling angered or anxious." Hmmmmmmmm. Maybe Morrone doesn't understand neurotransmitters, anxiety disorders, and other biochemical issues that would support people not being able to help such things.
You will find more in this book than most regarding physical therapy for Migraines and headaches, which is to be expected since Morrone is a physical therapist. There is also information on posture, core strengthening, and breathing -- issues that are often neglected. Still, in the end, I cannot say that this book is worth buying or taking the time to read. On most topics, you can find better information elsewhere.
