By Gina Gunkel, Health Guide Monday, July 21, 2008

I am glad you enjoyed the concert at Shea Stadium.  You are mentioning that you are having problems with fatigue.  I have been dealing with MS fatigue since my dx 4/94.  I am taking Ritalin 20 Mg @ 6A, 1030A & 3P for both physical & cognitive fatigue with a very good amount of success.  I am under the care of the Rochester NY MS Care center at Strong Memorial Hospital.  I have several food allergies so I am taking the white pills as the ones with coloring added do not have the same effect.  I have been taking Ritalin since they pulled Cylert off the market 4/05.  I was taking Cylert since 1996.  Before I started these ADHD meds, 2+2 was not equaling 4.  Since I started, this has burned the fog from my mind that was being caused from my MS.  Feel good.....

Hi Gina - What a great experience.  I wish I was there it sounds liek it was just so much fun!!  Ahh and Billy Joel, need I say more.

I love your attitude and hope all of our members can find some small little way to enjoy anything they love to do - even if it takes a big effort.  Sometimes I feel like it takes more of an effort to regret not doing somethign than actually pushing ourselves to try.

All the best, sue
