I cannot speak more highly of the Canadian Network of Multiple Sclerosis Clinics (CNMSC). I was sent almost immediately to the MS Clinic at the University of British Columbia and was treated to not only neurological care, but given access to physiotherapy, social work, infusion clinic, neuro-psychology and opthamology right in the same set of offices. Nutritionist and bladder care, even gynecology were also referrals I could get if I needed them.
I believe that this comprehensive system of care is what has allowed me to not only stop the damage from my first attack but to actually improve.
I also <3 my neurologist and relapse nurse.
Lori,
I'm so glad to hear that CNMSC really does offer great services, and such a wonderful variety and thoroughness for the patient. So great to hear when patients have access to such a comprehensive system providing excellent care.
And the news about actually improving is fantastic!! I remember from early on in your blog that your initial attack was rather dramatic and debilitating. So glad that you are doing well now!!
