Using Rituxan to Treat RA

  • Hello All,

It's been awhile since I've posted a Gratitude Friday.  And today seemed a good day to do so.  Yesterday I spent 10 hours at the hospital infusion center getting a dose of Rituxan (for my RA).  Not all 10 hours were spent getting the medication but it turned into a long day anyways.  I was even priviledged with two hospital meals.

I came away from the day more thankful than ever of the infusion nurse at my neurologist's office.  Of the five times she has started an IV on me, she has only stuck me only five times!!  Yesterday, it took multiple nurses and six sticks to get an IV started. Yikes.

Another thing I am thankful for is that our Amy will be leading the first ever Chat Session hosted at MS Central.  Please tune in on Tuesday at 7-9PM EDT.

What are you thankful for today?
