Online Support Groups Are a Great Source for Multiple Sclerosis Information
Welcome to the Week in Review and a this week has been even more active than last week here at MS Central. So what's been going on around here? Let's find out.
From the Community:
Denise asks Is This Really Health Care Reform? "I haven’t heard much, if anything, about the actual delivery of health care in the discussions and I believe that there is a real need for review, and in some places, reform." Too often, patient concerns are left out of the discussion.
tacklems is new here and looking for friends who have and understand MS. Please say hi.
metal mike contemplates how "sleep is the new....." I agree with the amount of rest necessary but maybe not the alcohol to thin blood. LOL.
Hollyk discusses creepy crawly, itchy twitchy and other irritants. Just thinking about it makes me itchy. Yikes.
momdukes/Sherry asks Does It Get Easier. "I write to ease my pain, this is what I do, it make me feel better, so you can tell, when I am feeling kinda low, because I write. Life does get easier; we just have to continue on living. No one ever said it was going to be easy, no one ever said that it was ever going to be without heart aches, it is called life." True wisdom.
karen talks about possibly switching meds. She'd love to hear from others who are not using MS drugs or who have dealt with Avonex side-effects.
ladygraycloud/Suzanne shares that Mental Health and MS is Sure A Kick I Never Expected! "I finally went to my first social event in over two years and had a great time --the noise and large group of people didn't effect me this time so even though I have always liked the all natural ways--thank god for the med that I'm on and the strenght and love from him and my husband." You go girl!!! Great Job.
Hollyk experiences a giant leap backwards. "Where do I fit in? Why does this place fit like a glove; I'm so tired of fighting to find out what is wrong. I've gone from"no ms" to "I don't know" to "clinical ms" to "possible ms" to "no ms" again. I'm trying so hard to stay positive. This is taking what little energy I have left and zapping it!" Wish we could make it easier.
beba violet says I normally go into a depression. Experiencing depression can be really tough. You are not alone!!
Holly Elliott discusses Wheelchair use versus risk of falling and further limitation of freedom. Be sure to read the lively discussion in the comment section on this one.
momdukes/Sherry reminds us that The 4th is Getting Closer. Yes, Sherry, your menu makes me hungry.
