Regaining Feeling in Feet: Multiple Sclerosis

Sometimes we just have to take a moment to be grateful for little things.  Today is one of those days for me.  I hope that you will join me.

Earlier this week, I was vacuuming my living room floor on which I have a persian rug.  At one moment when I stopped to take a break, I noticed something very odd.

I could feel the bottom of my feet.  Rather, I could feel through the bottom of the feet.

Wow. The freshly vacuumed softness of the rug was so pleasant, I spent some time just brushing my feet back and forth.  I could even feel the texture of the fibers.

This was such an unexpected blessing, because I can't quite remember the last time I could feel through my feet.  See, they have been numb like my fingers for so very long.
