New Features for MultipleSclerosisCentral

  • Hi Y'all,

Hope everybody is hanging in there and maintaining a stress-free environment during the Holiday season.  I've been out of town on an unexpected trip after the sudden death of my Grandfather.  Sherry and Sherry, thank you so much for your kind words.

Vicki, in response to your Question of the Week, I didn't brave the shopping elements until last Thursday when I ventured into the Walmart in Ada, Oklahoma which got the better of me.  I briefly discuss that adventure and others related to my unexpected trip on my blog - Loud Sounds and Chaos Equal Pain and Disability in This MS Patient.  The response I have received so far truly lets me know that I am not alone on this journey, and neither are you!!

Honestly, this post is an informal one.  I just noticed that we are getting a facelift around here.  I know that HealthCentral is making an effort to improve community member's experiences.  I've asked you, our community members, a few times how this site might become more useful to you and for our one-time visitors.

We have a new producer, Chris, who is excited about helping to make that happen...and I'm excited about that as well.  Please, if you notice any dead links or links which lead to the wrong place, please let us know and we'll work to get things fixed as quickly as possible.

Also, please know that no matter what it is you which to share or to ask, you are invited to Create a Sharepost, to Ask a Question of the community, and most definitely to Answer a Question posed by community members and those who are simply looking for quick responses on the internet.

Without your participation, MS Central is just a few of us talking to ourselves.  With your participation, we are a vibrant community which supports and informs each other and ourselves.  There are lots of places on the internet where MSers can go to read about MS or to join a forum.

This place is unique because of the individuals who choose to help build the community through participation and comraderie.  Chris told me that he would like to have this place as hopping as his previous job;  I laughed at that after he told me where he had worked.  But there's no reason why we can't be 'almost' as active and see lots of Shareposts scrolling on the Homepage.

Please join me and I'll be back with an official post later this week.
