Well Ive been off the Avonex for 3 weeks and the freedom of not having to give myself a shot has been great. Ive been feeling pretty good. No more flu like symptoms from Avonex. I gotta tell you I am so tempted to go it alone but my neurologist highly disagrees with this. I know hes right and I may feel good but damage may still be happening and who knows when a relpapse will rear its ugly head. So the nurse is coming a week from today to show me how to give myself my copaxone injections. I guess its different then the avonex injections and instead of weekly its a daily shot. YUCK I hate shots!!! But if it does what its suppossed to do and if it keeps me from being miserable like the avonex did I can do it! The sites been so quiet. I hope all is well with everyone. Im off to camp for 4th of July. Happy 4th of July. Let the holidays be an excuse to forget we have MS for awhile. ENJOY! Momdukes, enjoy your big picinic. Lots of love to all.
