I'm writing this to respond to a couple of answers to a question I had posed.  Unfortunately I couldn't respond to the answer.  Thank you for those of you who did answer and gave me some feed back, that's in "print" so I KNOW I'm not nuts!    One of the problems (among the many)...

    Hey there!

I am so glad you agreed to post about this and I am curious too if others will comment about their visual experiences.  I am wondering if you were beginning to see one of those zigzaggy auras that I sometimes see because it starts with lines that seem to move.

    Anything is possible with MS.

Thanks again for sharing your experience here.

This is primarily the reason I sought treatment.  If I look at a lighted object, or trees with sunlight behind them, I see the trees, but as a light.  It's hard to explain.  We have tile floors and I see the grids where the grout is, and when I look away for a second I see the grids as white lines.  I see lingering images where the image is still in my vision when I have stopped looking at it.  It's creepy!  I see some lettering linger on signs, computer, etc.  I sometimes can't go online because the light coming from behind makes my vision worse.  They thought it was migraines.  I even had my vision lose all color last December and it went inverted.  That was pretty scary!  It came right back tho.  I was just diagnosed 10 days ago and haven't started the lovely injectibles yet.

I can't say I've had the color loss and vision "inversion", but the lingering images, shapes or what have you, yeah, lots of that. Figures out of the corners, move.......I've kinda gotten used to that. I don't really notice anymore. I have noticed my "blind spot". I've had it tested, (for optic nuritis or however you spell it) according to my nuero-opthemologist, if you "notice your blind spot" it indicates possible "swelling" of the optic nerve. I don't know what that might mean for me. I have looked at things, or read something, and I know what I'm looking at, but I'm aware of "blank spots". Letters in a word will disapear, or there are "holes" in the image where my blind spot are. Strange, but more and more usual. Let me know how things work out. I still haven't had a diagnosis, and have to go back for ANOTHER MRI, but who knows. Good luck to you.
