Summer is right around the corner and most people that means some fun in the sun after a particularly nasty winter. But for others, summer can be a time of physical and mental stress and a slew of health problems.
For people with multiple sclerosis (MS), the heat can temporarily worsen their symptoms or even cause a relapse. The nature of MS is that its severity continues to progress, however slowly or quickly, and there is not yet any cure. That said, people with the condition are often able to identify their MS triggers, such as the heat, and learn how to best manage them.
