Having signed now with an agent in hopes of selling my book to a publisher, I will take the presumptuous step of asking assistance from you all.

Publishing houses nowadays are businesses first and foremost. In other words, their main concern is with making money. Therefore my main task at this stage is to convince them that they could make money on a book centering largely on living with a disease. In other words, I have my work cut out for me.

It appears also that publishers are particularly impressed with what well known people have to say.

Is anyone out there acquainted with a well known person who has MS?

How about this--can anyone give me a list of "famous" people, dead or alive or a little of both, who have had MS?
