    Hi Cindy,

     

    MS certainly doesn't ONLY affect the fair skinned -- just a large percentage.  Dark skinned individuals do suffer from MS as well, although in a smaller percentage.  In fact, if you read some of Montel's writings he talks about how denied that he could have MS b/c he is dark skinned.  Here is some other interesting new research -- showing how MS affects light and dark skinned individuals differently.
