Glass half full or half empty?

By Man on a Mission Tuesday, May 25, 2010

I was asked recently by a reader of my blog whether I am really totally symptom free, since my posts are all positive and focused on being proactive in taking care of my health.  The answer is that I have some symptoms like we all do, but I choose to focus on the positive and the fact that I am feeling better the longer I am on the Swank diet.  So I ask all of you who are living with MS - do you concentrate on the living, or on the MS?  And what are you doing to take care of yourself.  http://www.manonamsion.wordpress.com

I choose to look at the positive.  I am glad that you are living well.  I have heard a lot about the Swank diet, so I must look into this diet.  More power to you!!!  Yes we will never be completely MS free, but who is to say we do not live well!  I have had MS all my life, but it did not show up until I was 44 I am now 52, and I lived well b/4 it surfaced.  Keep on keeping on, live well, I give you much props!

Sherry - Please do look into the diet - it is the best thing you can do to control your MS and slow progression.  The best resource on the web is www.takingcontrolofmultiplesclerosis.org.  You can also find that link and others on my blog, www.manonamsion.wordpress.com.

Be well,

M.

Since I started blogging and then writing here, MS is much more a part of my life.  It has also progressed during that time coincidentally.  However, I believe being around the wonderful online friends I have has helped to encourage staying on the positive side of things.
