Do you use a health app on your mobile phone? Which ones do you use, and do you recommend them? How do they help?
Do you use apps? An “app” is a program or application ready to download on your mobile phone or other mobile device. An app makes it easy to do something - like track your health, workouts, calories, find diabetic menu choices, etc.
As of November 2010, there were 17,000 health apps available. Many are for health care students and professionals, but 57% of those are for consumers.
I use apps on my mobile phone, but I was unaware there are so many health apps. There are so many apps for games, instructing how to tie neckties, directories, and even a Kindle application so I can read a book on my phone.
What kind of information would you like to see in an app?
So the question of the week is: Do you use a health app on your mobile phone? Which ones do you use, and do you recommend them? How do they help?
