Diet and Nutrition as MS Therapy: Question of the Week

Do you use diet or nutrition in your MS therapy?

Do you follow a particular diet that you believe benefits MS? Have you found that it works? What are the particular benefits?

It is obvious that diet seems to be an important factor in managing MS — low-fat, gluten-free, restricted red meat and dairy. There are so many different varieties, but they are still similar.

I have written a series about food and MS in which I included a review of diets. Lisa also gives a nice review of various MS diets. There is a multitude of questions asking about “the best” diet or supplement.

There has been so much written on diets and MS. Some diets claim they are a cure!

So the question this week is: Do you use diet or nutrition in your MS therapy?
