Vicki,

You have truly outdone yourself.  Amazing article replete with examples and links for information.  Wow.

If folks want to go directly to the Clinical Trials database to search for ongoing and completed trials for MS, they can use the following link.

http://clinicaltrials.gov/search/condition=%22multiple+sclerosis%22

I keep this one on speed-dial so to speak.  Smile

Now I've got to go through this post again and read all of your sources.  Thank you.

Thanks Lisa.

There is a lot of information here, but there is even more available.  I was trying to keep it short.  Short? It seems to go on forever!

Now, the link.  Thank you.  I did not talk about entering "multiple sclerosis" as a search string, but I should hace suggested using "progressive multiple sclerosis."  As I said, there are so many more items -- and isn't that exciting? -- and I'm sure anything you have on speed dial will be useful for a lot of us!

Actually, research and clinical trials could be a series of articles all by itself.

I ran across this article (with help from Garry). and I think anyone interested in MS research will find it worth reading.  Julie Stachowiak, to whom I often link, writes about and links to an article about a new direction in MS research.  I wrote in this post that it excited me to hear the UT Southwestern study of Rituxan because it focused in a different area than much of the research we hear about (B cells rather than T cells).

This article is about MS, not specifically Progressive MS, but it is worth reading.  Be sure to go through the comments, too.  Enjoy.
