    When I talked about cabs and wheelchairs, I neglected to talk about an exciting new form of public transportation — specifically designed to be wheelchair accessible. 


    I first heard of this when it was a pilot project, but now these are available in many cities. Check here to see if your city is on the list.  It may be a van, but it is accessible, and it is a cab.  You should call and not count on just hailing one on the street.


    Someone has been listening.  Accessibility is becoming more, well, accessible!
