Sometimes I wonder what we would do with out these Doctors that keep telling us we just aren't sure as of yet--we have ruled out all other illness that you could have with the same symptons but still can't clinically dx you with MS--my issues for instance could all but be taken and/or helped by them waiting and going ahead and dx me so I can get my disability and not even talking the money part-I mean the medicaid part so I can get into the clinics I need to but at Shands (a teaching hospital in Florida) I am under the supervision of a senior resident, he great-hetakes the time to talk to me and explain diferent things and feels I should be dx with and started on the copaxane to slow down symptons--the actual doc his under keeps telling me and him lets just watch her in the clinic and go from there--of I understand its not his body and he isn't paying out of pocket-I am!!

This trully bothers me due to the fact if dx now it is possible to slow growth and or more lessions for awhile longer-compared to lets just watch her-watch do what have a full blown stroke and possibly total incompasitated--sorry if this sounds a little out there but I know what can happen if dx in time--my husbands cousin went down and never stood up on his own again--sorry but that scares the heck out of me!

I also know every case is different but the fear that goes with it isn't any different for me than anyone else!!

I had another TIA on the 13th and almost one year from the first one, I go on the 28th for the MRIs on cervical spine and brain--I do have some different symptons from this one-like rubber band feeling on both sides of my neck, the pain and burning feeling that went down my outside of left left from hip to knee nows goes all the way down to my foot and I have to say the wierdest is the muscle spasams in my back. I am also going to ask about possible RA due to my joints always hurting?!!

All I can say anyone out there not ask alot of questions from your doctor and get the answers--I live 45 min from my neuro and I talk to him on a constint basis--he keeps asking about my gp--I really don't have with no insurance I go to a walk-in clinic-this is HARD!!

Just know also you could not be on a better site and believe me I have checked alot of them out they help you here and give you comfort-I know this for a fact too!!

Take Care
