Hi Kelkel,

Welcome to the MS community!  I'm sorry to hear of your recent diagnosis, but I hope that you are doing well.  There is a lot of information posted here and on various MS society websites, including the National MS Society.

Right after diagnosis, I started using Copaxone.  Although some people online have talked about it causing weight gain, I don't think that that was the case with me.  I may have gained weight because I became less active, but I don't think Copaxone had anything to do with it.

As a new patient on Copaxone, the Shared Solutions program will be there to help answer any questions you have regarding the drug.

I guess that you've already started using Copaxone by now.  How is it going?

Lisa
