Hi, thanks for your support.  I started yesterday and so far the food is pretty tasty.  The portions are small but that doesn't bother me, I didn't eat much before anyway.  The only thing I miss is having something sweet with my breakfast, but I will manage.  I don't know about the MS medicine causing weight gain, but my doctors agree that the morphine I get on a continuous basis from an intrathecal pump can affect my metabolism.  Plus I have a nodule on my thyroid and that can reduce it as well.  I am anxious to see if Jenny Craig works and I know I have to increase my level of physical activity so I got a exercise DVD that is for people with disabilities, you do the exercises sitting in a chair.  I tried doing it  a couple of times a week once before and slowly stopped but I am going to try again.  Plus I have bicycle wheels that sit on the floor and I can pedal because I can no longer climb onto a stationery bike. Let's see how I do with all my big plans. I feel very motivated to do all this, let's hope I stay motivated.

Welcome to the SharePosts, I hope you find some of them helpful.  I wouldn't worry about your typing, the important thing is to get your message through and learn from and share with everyone. Good luck,

    Denise
