  • I was just browsing the News section of the MS page, and stumbled across some headlines that were interesting. 


    New Drug More Effective Than Standard Treatment for MS


    Apparently 71% of those with relapsing-remitting MS saw no disease activity after four years of use of a new experimental drug alemtuzumab.


    Has anyone heard of this or followed the trials?


    Next, Sunlight Linked to MS.  According to a new study, children of women who were pregnant in winter months have a higher risk of developing MS due to less exposure to sunlight.  Were you born in a time where your mother would have been pregnant during the winter?  Does this seem feasible?  Could this tie in with Vitamin D?
