What file formats will this site take to add a picture?

QQuestion on site, can't add picture

All of the images or photos I've uploaded have been in the .jpg format. I believe I tried to embed a .tiff imagine into a post once but it didn't work. I haven't tried any other formats, but the jpeg seems to work just fine. At least it did for me.
Perhaps make sure that your file it's not large. Maybe that could contribute to any difficulties.

Just shows file name, not image
