Fampridine

Regarding walking issues, speed, the FDA is currently reviewing Fampridine, which apparently has finished its trials, for approval for MS patients.  My neuro discussed with me that this drug assists in allowing messages to get where it needs to be.  For me, my leg.  Check out the manufactures site:  Acorda.  They have a nice video showing how the drug may work for you.  Again, hope.  Enjoy your day!  Smile

At the physical therapist's office, Fampridine is a hot topic right now.  There are patients interested in trying it as soon as it is approved which may happen later this year.  Here is a short piece written after Acorda Therapeutics filed with the FDA for approval in January - Does demyelination from multiple sclerosis affect your ability to walk?
