What does this mean, just a picture of the sun?  My first thought when I saw it was that the sun is still shining.

Here we are with this devastating disease, but life is going on all around us.  We need to learn more about MS, to understand how other people handle problems similar to ours, to comfort and be comforted, and life continues around us.  We need to know how to live with our disease, but we have to remember our lives beyond the disease, too.

We have MS and the sun is still shining.  Life continues and we can still enjoy it.

What does it mean to you?

I love the sun.  I get depressed when it rains or is cloudy for a long time.  (which it can do in La.)  Life does go on and I am one of the lucky ones.  I have RRS and can still walk pretty well, even tho I have 'cement' legs a lot of days.  I'm a little down now because I am off all meds and am worried that I may be making a big mistake.  I just needed a break from the once a week Avonex and flu symptoms every week-end.  I was very fatigued and depressed.  Also, weight just keeps coming on no matter what I eat.  I am like Helen, I want to try something else.  (LDN)  I doubt I can find a doctor around here that will prescribe it.  I feel like taking charge of this because no one knows how I feel, better than myself.

As far as the sun, it is hope, to me. It is life, it is good.
