Does anyone in the pittsburgh area know of a good neurologist that specializes in Ms. If this works I'll return to ask more,and tell more.Thank you in advance

I don't live in the Pittsburgh area, but I did conduct a search for an MS Center in the area which is a member of the Consortium of MS Centers.
There were three centers which came up in the search:
Allegheny Multiple Sclerosis Treatment Center 412-359-8850 420 East North Avenue Suite 206,
There is also a website/forum on which MS patients give recommendations (or not) for neurologists who specialize in MS. You can check that out here - MSNeuroRatings.com
I looked for feedback on neuros in the Pittsburgh area. The reviews were mixed. I would start with the clinics mentioned above.

Your blog went through! I dont know of a MS specialist in Pittsburgh. I went to a really good one at the Cleveland Clinic. Are you recently diagnosed? Im new to this site too. Im new to MS as well. This site has been very helpful and informative and just to know Im not alone is reassurring. Karen

There are so many of us out here with MS. This is a wonderful site, with great, people, great information, and just plain old great reading. Thanks It is great to know we arent alone and you are so right it is not the end of the world..I thought that when I was first dx. I am now looking at it as a new chapter in my life. Everything happens for a reason!
Thank you so much, I used to go on the menningioma mommas site which was very helpful and encouraging when I was going through that period in my life.
