is Just had a cup of (soy) coffee with a friend with MS who is following the Taking Control Program, and whose lesions are disappearing, and her neurologist hasn't shown any surprize, or asked her what she is doing. Hmmm...

About Me

My mother died of MS after 13 years with the disease, and I was diagnosed in 1999. Fortunately, my background as a medical professor, editor of a medical journal, book author and author of over 100 publications in the medical literature enabled me to search the literature and find ways of minimising the risk of further relapses. I have had no relapses now since 1999, and have put this information on my website www.takingcontrolofmultiplesclerosis.org and in my book published by Allen and Unwin 'Overcoming Multiple Sclerosis: an Evidence-Based Guide to Recovery'. My passion is to change the current paradigm of multiple sclerosis from a disease you can do little about, to one that you can control and potentially recover from with the right lifestyle changes and rigorous attention to health.
