About Me

I've had MS over 1/2 my life...I do my best to deal with it. My husband has Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes, so I have learned everything possible in dealing with that also. In a small way, it's been a blessing since you really have to take such good care of yourself with Diabetes in order to avoid complications. We have indoor cats, former strays who complete our family. I have moved several times throughout my childhood, and my husbands promotions/transfers...5 states, from as far south as Miami Fl. to NY, I hope to be able to stay in South NJ.....I love going to the shore (Cape May) to watch birds/migrations in cooler weather. I really appreciate the so called "small things" in life. I have always loved cats, so I am so lucky that Tim my husband supports me in trying to take care of feral cats in the Atlantic City area, as well as being open to adopting them .....our family of 7 indoors cats were strays from NC. They are all fixed so please don't think I'm a crazy cat lady animal hoarder...I am so grateful for their company during the day, and whenever Tim has to fly out on business. They are unintentional comics, I love them all. Cats helped me through my darkest days 20 years ago when I was diagnosed and so depressed. I was a former so called "wonder woman" working, going to college, doing some modeling....Tim and I were a couple of "dinks", (double income no kids)living it up, traveling, partying, living on the edge. I have had several years to reflect on this, and as odd as it may sound, I wouldn't trade the assorted life lessons I have picked up on.......meaning, I think I probably enjoy and appreciate life more because of it.
