MS Helpers Alert!!!!!

By just2tired Friday, December 04, 2009

OK, I entered a comment last week, but I cannot remember where (duh) but I had a list of things that help me around the house and stuff and everyone was interested in my list.  Well the Swivel Sweeper was one of my life savers, and I got an email that they are offering 2 for 1 again!  Follow this link:  https://www.getswivelsweeper.com/?mid=553683&a=55953&s=CD6433

I have two of these darlings, one for each end of the house.  They really help me out so if anyone is interested, check it out!

Thanks for the tip!!  I must have missed your comment with the list of things which help you.  Ideas on how to make things easier is always appreciated.

I might not know where you commented, but I do know how you can find your comment more easily.  Here's what you do:

Go to your "My Home" homepage.  There are four tabs in a row; the 2nd one is "My Stuff" - click on it.  Then you will see "My Comments" - click on that.

You should find a listing of all the comments you have made with links to the original post and links to individual comments.  It took me awhile before I ever noticed that these were there myself.  Hope you can find what you are looking for.  :)

Hi Just2Tired,

Your unknown comment may have been on The Language of MS where you talked about helping people and part pof that was household tools.  Sound like something you are talking about? It was helpful.

OK-you asked for it!  Gopher Reaching Tools (2)-one for back and front of house; good stepstools for each room (even just the little plastic one steppers); if you don't have a dishwasher, invest in a portable dishwasher-worth every penny; KitchenAid mixer so I don't have to hold the hand mixer for any length of time; Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner (a godsend since I can no longer scrub the tub); Clorox Toilet Wand-after trying several other types, I chose this one as the best; electric can opener (my hubby actually thought of this one cause my hands hurt so much); Shark handheld vacuum; Billess Little Green and Bissell SpotLifter-if you have pets, these are worth the money; and the BEST is the Swivel Sweeper-I ordered when I first saw the commercial and online they offered 2 for 1, so I got 2 and keep one in the front and kitchen area and one in the back and bathroom area.  They are awesome.

If you have a comfortable chair or couch that you spend a lot of time on, here's a tip: Get a couple of the organizers with drawers from Rubbermaid and put all the stuff you usually have to get up to get in, i.e. tweezers, paper/pen/stationary, combs, small books, manicure things, lotion, etc.  I have surrounded my chair with all my coloring things and reading materials and knitting.  Yes I find coloring very therapeutic and use coloring books geared for adults that have mandalas, fractels, etc.  I have so much by my chair I had to get a shelving unit to fit everything on.  But it sure is nice not to have to get up when I feel bad and the pain is really bad.

That's all I can think of right now, but just take a minute and ask yourself what would make trying to rest a little easier, or cleaning a little easier.  There are several catalogs out there that focus just on gadgets like "Whatever Works", 'Dr. Leonards", "Home Trends" and "Fresh Finds""
