Worms

Thursday, April 03, 2008 at 09:29 AMHello - not being famliar to this subject and having a (knock wood) "mild" form of RR MS , I must say , I do love your posts, but my cognitive skilld just can't grasp (yet) the sharepost of which you have written on this subject .. lol ..
I may have to read it several times , but am I understanding that there are specific worms we would ingest that may help eliminate the disase ? or slow the progression ?
Like I said , you are not far from my age, and so I don't think you are looney .. but I am trying to grasp the notion .. would these particular worms be made in a digestible form or would they have to be live ?
Again, I will re-read this again, and agin if need be , but it certainly interesting, such as bee stings were once pooh poohed as a treatment for something . I am just not sure where I would stand on this right now ..
But , again, thanks for the information, very off-beat ... agserra

Thanks Dr. Gross for this, well kinda creepy post.
Not having to face the debilitating symptoms of MS, I can for certain say I would not ingest worms. I just would not. However, what if I did have MS and it was so progressed that I could not hold my children or brush their hair ( i have THREE little girls)? And ingesting these parasites might give me that chance?! I wonder how far I would go to hold my kids?
How do those of you facing these MS problems feel about this research? We want to hear from you and what your thoughts are regarding this topic.
