Hi Mandy,
You might recall that I was discussing the cost of a MS relapse back in March. Well, I finally received the last of the related EOBs on Friday. I decided to share that information in The MS Relapse is not so Inexpensive. Although my insurance does not cover my daily injectible MS medication which cost upwards of $24,000 each year, I suppose I got off easy with only owing $700 of the $6000 allowed costs for one 5-day round of IVSM, three doctors visits, and one round of brain/cervical MRIs. Multiple sclerosis is responsible for the largest expenses in my annual budget review.
