There is something so fragile in a newly-diagnosed person. So many different physical and emotional changes going on and so much awareness of the unknowns.
Although we may want to gift all of our knowledge at once, that's impossible, and perhaps unwise, to do. When I was first diagnosed, I felt as though nobody could understand. But just as you reached out to the woman across the table, a couple of someones did the same for me.
Thank you for being such an advocate and support for yourself and others. We all gain benefit from the ripples put in motion.

when I got diagnosed! 
I was eager to meet anyone with MS but I didn't know anybody. I have mainly met my support system on-line. I guess most of us walk around with our mostly invisible symptoms and...we just don't know who has it. That was really nice of you to help that lady...I am sure she really appreciated it.
