About Me

Currently residing in northern Virginia with my husband and facing the daily realities of living with multiple sclerosis.

When we began blogging in order to express ourselves through writing, we decided to create pen names. Our blogs touched on such personal topics as marriage, family life, and our experiences living with multiple sclerosis. "Jake and Mandy" were born out of our concern for privacy.

Our blog, MS Maze, focusing on living with multiple sclerosis, caught the attention of The Health Central Network. When I was asked to become a contributing blogger for this site, it was only natural that Mandy would make that leap.

After MSFocus Magazine requested that I write an article based on some of my previous work, I decided it was time to "come out." You can get to know me better through my website...AnnPietrangelo.com.

Through this blog, I (Mandy/Ann) hope to reach out to MS patients and their families and to encourage a sense of community. I appreciate your support and welcome your input.
